We are looking for a DevOps engineer to support the growth of our infrastructure, which is based on exciting and constantly evolving technology stacks. The DevOps Engineer is a member of the “DevOps/Cloud team”.
You are passionate about Networking, Security, Linux, Scalable infrastructure, Modern Software
development Workflows, Automation, Zero downtime and Open Source.
You have the desire to learn and understand the underlying technologies but you are also a generalist
and can keep the big picture in mind while designing and extending our infrastructure.

You want to have a positive impact on our company and you are eager to work in close relation with our engineers to continuously improve our toolsets to raise the internal effectiveness of our teams. You have a wide breadth of knowledge across IT in general and a good overview of the software components in-use in the company. You are also aware of the full software development lifecycle.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure.
What your day-to-day might look like:
- Manage and scale our container orchestration platforms, primarily Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- Implement and champion GitOps practices, managing infrastructure configuration and application deployments through version control.
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable, and secure software delivery.
- Implement monitoring for our services, troubleshoot complex issues across the stack, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
- Integrate security tools and processes into the development and operations lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our infrastructure, focusing on performance, reliability, and security.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with a solid technical foundation, a proactive mindset and a passion for Cybersecurity. Here’s what we expect from a DevOps engineer:
- Good understanding and overall knowledge in the networking, virtualisation, and storage areas.
- Deep knowledge in Linux, its command-line tools, shells and scripting.
- Experience with Kubernetes/Openshift.
- Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- Working experience with virtualisation stacks such as OpenStack and oVirt.
- Basic programming knowledge (e.g. Python, Go, Ruby, or Perl) and good understanding of Git.
- Good communication skills in English, Dutch or French.

The extras we value
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL database technologies, including practical experience with systems like PostgreSQL and OpenSearch.
- Hands-on experience with leading Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools, such as Jenkins and Tekton pipelines.
- Strong familiarity with key monitoring and logging platforms, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana.
- You are familiar with Kubernetes management tools such as Helm, Kustomize and Argo CD.
- Experience managing bare metal infrastructure such as servers and switches.
- You have experience working in a scale-up or fast-paced tech environment.

Work Location
Your main base? It's our Mechelen office. You'll visit our Mont-Sint-Guibert (Louvain la Neuve), Brussels, or Antwerp locations now and then. Sure, you get to work from home part-time. Still, most of your colleagues choose to come into the office. Why, though? They love the great vibe here.
