Course Summary

e-Banking Fraud Schemes introduces students to trends in online banking attacks and suggests defense measures for financial institutions to protect themselves. In the first module of this course, typical attack trends such as phishing, pharming, spyware and man-in-the-middle attacks are covered. Also presented are alarming statistics regarding fraud in online banking applications and some general background information on the cybercrime black market. This training course concludes with an in-depth discussion on the defense techniques that financial institutions can adopt to combat e-banking fraud.
