Course Summary

Content Security presents a study of computer viruses, including topics such as virus origin, possible virus damage and typical dissemination techniques. This course also covers virus countermeasures, including a description of various defense techniques. Techniques covered include prevention, search and destroy, and blocking techniques. In the final section of this course, computer malware and countermeasures are examined. Worms, Trojan horses, spyware &adware, spam, hoaxes, keyloggers, dialers,and common forms of malware are also explained.
