Products in this range are models which can be connected via USB to a PC. The functionality can run locally on the DIGIPASS Unconnected model or can be controlled by the PC using the Personal Computer Smart Card (PC/SC) interface. Both symmetrical and asymmetrical keys in the smart card can be used. Most models have double functionality and can also operate in an unconnected way, similar to the DIGIPASS Connected Readers Range. These products are typically used for PKI smart cards as used for high value banking transactions, or as used in Enterprise Security.
