Belgium: Quality Assurance Manager (Wemmel)

Summary

VASCO Data Security is looking for a ‘Quality Assurance Manager’ to join its QA Department.

The mission of the QA Manager is to define and maintain standards for VASCO products, so that these can be successfully deployed by the VASCO customers.He/she will overlook the overall Quality of VASCO products.

Profile

• Youhave a Bachelor or Master degree with previous experience in Quality Assurance/Testing of hardware/software products (4+ years) andexperience in providing Customer Support.

• You have experience in setting up/troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 2000 Server & 2003 Server.

• You are a people manager.

• You are able to pay strong attention to detail and you have the ability to express ideas clearly both written and verbally.

• Ability to ensure that clear and concise professional, high quality defect reports are issued to engineering.

• You have an investigative nature with strong trouble-shooting skills.

• You are a quick learner who is able to adapt to new processes and concepts.

• Functional knowledge:

          - Technical knowledge of the IT standards and protocols, more specific Windows, UNIX/LINUX, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, …  

          -Basic to advanced knowledge of computer security

          -Understanding of the architecture of web-based applications and relational databases

          -Knowledge of TCL, SQL

          -Familiarity with different operating systems and platforms

          -Practical knowledge on web-based applications development and relational databases

• You are fluent in Dutch, English and French.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, update standard product requirements

• Coordinate QA tests on VASCO products, prior to release

• Product test automation

• Signoff product release

• Coordinate alpha/beta test program

• Manage QA Team
