Summary

VASCO Data Security is looking for a ‘Product Design Engineer’ to join its R&D Department in Wemmel.

The ‘Product Design Engineer’ will be actively involved in the design of our new product ranges, including concept design, material selection, 3D drawings and trim the created parts until they are ready for mass production.

Profile

You have a Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering or Product Design Engineering.
You have some years of experience in concept design and 3D-Design.
Knowledge of:

-Plastic design

-Pro/E

-Photoshop, Illustrator

-Mould design

Affinity with mass-production and consumer products.
You are creative, precise, quality minded and result driven.
You are a problem solver with good analytical skills.
You are a team player and you have a learning attitude.
You are fluent in English and have a good knowledge of Dutch.

Responsibilities

The ‘Product Design Engineer’ is responsible for the product development and quality.

Create new form factors
Make conceptual designs
Make the detailed 3D-drawings
Follow-up the parts and mould manufacturing
Validate designs
