aXs GUARD Identifier is built around VACMAN® core technology to offer you strong user authentication for Remote Access to your corporate network or to web-based business applications.
Strong two factor authentication
The combination of aXs GUARD Identifier and DIGIPASS provides a much more reliable form of user authentication than reusable static passwords and can be easily implemented. Using an individually assigned DIGIPASS, your remote users will be able to prove their claimed identity quickly by using a dynamically generated One-Time Password (OTP). It offers you a turnkey solution that can be up and running in a very short time without affecting performance.
Standalone device in optimized enclosure
The stand-alone, dedicated Authentication Appliance comes in a standard 19 inch rack mountable enclosure.
With a compact form factor of only 1U high and 14 inch deep, the appliance is designed for easy integration into existing IT infrastructures.
Web-based user interface
All administration functions are conveniently available through a web-based user interface, allowing remote or outsourced administration and bringing new opportunities for managed services providers.
Complete authentication solution
The information on users, DIGIPASS and policies is stored in either a local database inside the appliance, or through an ODBC connection in an available database on the network.
Existing back-end authentication systems can be supported through the use of the Stored Password Proxy feature.
Auditing and reporting
The audit console monitors incoming and outgoing radius and web traffic (and several other events) on the aXs GUARD.
Standard or customized reports can be generated in XML format.
